Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) will soon initiate ‘Education through Information Communication Technology (ICT)’ Programme to educate people online, from age 9-90.
The programme will be initiated under the ‘Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (ST & I) 2012’ within 5-6 months, and will be free of cost for everyone who wants to learn.
Giving details, Chairperson Pakistan Council for Science and Technology ( PCST) Dr. Mudasir Asrar said every citizen either he is 9 or 90, now will be able to get education free of cost, even without going to school.
“It will be an online programme and everyone who wants to study, now will be able to qualify even Matric by availing online courses and CDs.”
