Pakistan Telecom Authority banned all INAMI/PRIZE schemes with immediate effect. The Telecom authority issued letter to all mobile companies in the light of Islamabad High Court order . Consumers protection of authority advice Mobilink Warid Ufone Telenor and Cmpak to stop all INAMI / PRIZE scheme in the light of Islamabad High Court order. Islamabad High Court has dismissed writ petition no 1152/2012 and and FAO 16,17.18.and 19 filled by telecom companies on 8th march 2013 in favor of authority.
Consumer protector directorate PTA issued letter no Misc/DG(s) 13 PTA Dated 20 March 20, 2013 advised the telecom companies to compliance report shall be submitted to this office by 21 March 20, 2013, positively.
