The 6th Annual Pakistan Telecommunications Conference 2013(TeleCON 2013)opens tomorrow June 13, 2013 at the Marriott Hotel in Karachi. The theme of the conference this year is “The Next Wave in Telecommunication: The Digitized Society/ Consumer”.
Prominent personalities from the telecom and information technology sectors, the corporate and banking sectors and academia have converged in the city to attend one of the most knowledge-based platforms on the conferences circuit. In depth discussions on the state-of-the-industry, including presentations in dedicated sessions will be undertaken by panels of eminent practitioners. Recommendations will be made to induct next-generation technologies and encourage increase of software development and export out of the country.
Mr. Javed Jabbar, former Federal Minister, Science & Technology will be delivering the keynote address. The conference brings together federal and provincial government representatives, regulatory bodies, investors, financial institutions, service providers, marketers, academia and specialists from all facets of the telecom as well as IT sector.
