Minister of State for Information Technology Ms Anusha Rehman Khan held an interactive session with a high level delegation of Etisalat in Islamabad today. Jamal Saif Al Jarwn (Chief Regional Officer Asia), Abdul Rahim A. Al Nooryani (Chairman & CEO) and Mr. Walid Irshad (CEO, PTCL) were included in the delegation. Members of delegation discussed all the outstanding issues. Both the sides showed their eagerness to resolve all the disconcerting matters and to look forward for positive development of ICT industry in Pakistan.
Minister of State appraised the delegation of firm resolve of the Government to make Pakistan a prosperous, developed and a corruption free country. Members of delegation appreciated the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Shrif towards using IT & T as an enabler for transparency development and good governance in the country and aspired to meet Honorable Prime Minister soon. Members of delegation expressed their eagerness to fully participate in all future initiatives of the Government in Telecom sector to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two countries.
