Ms. Anusha Rahman, Minister of State for IT & Telecom chaired a meeting regarding the performance of Telephone Industries of Pakistan (TIP). Mr. Azmat Ranjha, Additional Secretary IT and Senior Officials from Telephone Industries of Pakistan along with other officials from IT Ministry were also present on the occasion.
“It is inevitable that the country’s assets are used efficiently and effectively for prosperity and growth of the nation and to contribute towards the nation’s future financial stability so that to accelerate upward economic mobility”, said the State Minister for IT, Ms. Anusha Rahman speaking on the occasion.
The officials from TIP apprised the State Minister about the existing state of affairs at TIP during the briefing. The State Minister was of the view that it was need of the hour to take critical decisions and a timely plan of action was urgently required as the present circumstances were causing loss to public exchequer.
