After agreement with Pakistan Telecom authority 3.G auction process enter in next important phase. Telecom sector waiting Information Memorandum ( IM ) the most important document. Value Partner consortium will start work on Information Memorandum after two week due to Xmas holidays and it may be ready in third week of January. After this document sixty days is need to complete auction. It mean the 3G area will be start in last week of January or in first week of April.
As per agreement finalized the block of spectrum and complete process of auction is responsibility of Value Partner. It is most important phase of 3G auction sizing of spectrum blocks could play vital role to achieve goals. Its depends on basic sale price of blocks and bidder response. The consulting firm will proposed plane for auction it is responsibility high power committee headed by federal finance minister Ishaq Dar to accept it or reject.
After information memorandum sixty days are required to complete other necessary step but dead line did not allow sixty days this should be complete within 45 days. In this regards final decision still waited.
