Chairman Pakistan Telecom Authority is successful in getting his man on key position as Member Enforcement and Compliance. He was able to do this with the help of MOIT and political support.
Cabinet Division has issued a notification that Mr. Abdul Samad has been appointed as Member Enforcement and Compliance. TelecoAlert. com had already predicted this earlier and published it on website on 26th May 2014.
Telecom Sector has seen a mix reaction as reservations has been shown on member enforcement but not on the DG that has replaced Abdul Samad who has been welcomed due to his professional capabilities.
Yawar Yaseen has been selected as the new DG Enforcement and Compliance. Yawar has excellent reputation and has worked in the same capacity before.
