Huawei technologies – a global leader in telecommunication technologies, had sponsored and arranged a two-months Internship program at its Islamabad office, to engage young students for developing their technical skills, providing hands-on training, while also grooming their personalities for robust professional careers ahead.
As the internship programme concluded recently, a formal ‘Closing Ceremony’ was held in Islamabad to reward the internees with certificates. More than 90% of the interns are being offered Job-Opportunities at Huawei, as they were evaluated to be well-qualified and talented youngsters.
Mr. Simon Geng – CEO of Huawei Pakistan, addressed the graceful ceremony, while he also presented the interns with their certificates. Speaking on the occasion, the CEO said: “Being a socially responsible organization, Huawei has taken another step forward by offering Job Opportunities to 90% of the students enrolled in our recent internship programme. All these students were selected from Pakistan’s leading universities and Huawei will make job-offers to 90% of these interns, as soon as they successfully completed their two-months of internship.”
Mr. Geng further stated that; All internees of this program have been thoroughly trained and groomed to excel in their professional fields and hence, will become a valuable addition to their employers’ human resources. This was a unique opportunity for the young high-potential students to learn and work with the world’s leading telecom & ICT Company – Huawei.
