Mobilink as part of its ‘Press Club Development’ Initiative has established an ICT lab at Muzaffarabad Press Club. The ICT lab is equipped with the latest computers and an auxiliary facility for digital printing and scanning with wireless connectivity. The lab was inaugurated by Mobilink Corporate Communications team along with President Muzaffarabad Press Club, Sohail Mughal ceremony held at the Muzaffarabad Press Club.
Omar Manzur Head of Corporate Communication, Mobilink commenting on the inauguration said, “Regional press clubs form the backbone of media and public relations in Pakistan. Mobilink has always worked towards strengthening the roles of Press Clubs and providing facilities to help the media fraternity. The provision of this facility is a testament of our commitment towards providing institutionalized learning opportunities and extending support for capacity building to our media partners across Pakistan. We hope that these facilities will continue to add value in the way journalists benefit from the press clubs to perform their jobs for many years to come.”
Mobilink, under the ‘Press Club Development’ initiative, upgraded press clubs at Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore last year by adding a number of indoor and outdoor recreational facilities, improving infrastructure and providing access to the latest IT equipment. The Muzaffarabad Press Club ICT lab has been equipped with state-of-the-art computers along with printing and scanning facilities.
