Ambassador of Tajikistan in Pakistan H.E Sherali called on the Minister of State for Information Technology Ms. Anusha Rahman in her office here today. Areas of mutual interest, bilateral ties and cooperation in the field of ICT came under discussion. Federal Secretary IT Mr. Azmat Ali Ranjha, Member HR & IT Mr. Tahir Mushtaq were also present in the meeting.
While talking to the Ambassador, the Minister said that both Tajikistan and Pakistan enjoy close brotherly ties which are deeply embedded in history, religion and tradition. They agreed that there is a great potential in both the countries to learn from each other experiences in the field of IT & Telecom.
The Minister apprised the Ambassador regarding vision of the government to promote “accelerated digitization” and also informed regarding the key initiatives being taken by the Ministry of IT for development of IT & Telecom Sector in Pakistan.
The Ambassador appreciated the vision and efforts of Pakistan for the development of Information Communication Technology (ICT) sector and desired for the mutual cooperation & collaboration in areas of common interest in the ICT sector.
