Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s name was not mentioned in original Panama papers and the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) which has said that Nawaz Sharif’s name was included in the original Panama papers by mistake.
According to foreign news agency ICIJ has said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s name was not included at all in the list of those owning offshore companies but his name was included in the news by mistake.
ICIJ says that it regrets the error and has expunged Nawaz Sharif’s name from all the news stories.
In a statement ICIJ explained that it accepts the mistake of including Nawaz Sharif’s name in the data.
