Sub-committee of Senate Special Committee on delegated legislation in its meeting was told that Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has issued network licence to PTCL in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir, while only Special Communication Organisation(SCO) is allowed to provide telecommunication services in these areas. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Senator Daud Khan Achakzai here at the Parliament House on Monday. The working papers about the rules, regulations, notifications and SROs of SCO and TCET were not submitted well in time so the committee members decided to discuss the same in next meeting after analyzing the documents in detail.
