Is Jazz going to swallow another big ICT company?
Regularity Authority has stopped another major shakeup in telecom industry as reports are coming in that Jazz and Nayatel have mutually agreed to give 100% shares to Jazz. This will be a second major acquisition by Jazz that recently took over Warid Telecom.
According to sources that wished to remain unnamed, Jazz will be taking over Nayatel completely and will see Nayatel’s current leadership leaving the company. However Regularity Authority has stopped this acquisition and has objected under regulatory laws and asked for both parties to oblige to these laws for the acquisition to take place.
