Chairman PTI Imran Khan bars PTI MNAs from voting on no-trust motion

Chairman/Parliamentary Leader Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has issued instructions to PTI members National Assembly to abstain from voting on the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister.
In a letter to PTI MNAs on Tuesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan directed all PTI MNAs not to attend the session on the day of voting.
He said all party members are required to adhere to these directions in true letter and spirit and any keep it in mind the intent behind the provision of Article 63-A of Constitution of Pakistan, 1973.
It is made clear to all members that no member shall violate any instructions or extend any favor, relating to the vote of no confidence, to any other parliamentary party/group whatsoever.
Every/any violation of these directions shall be treated as express defection in terms of Article 63-A.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the elected representatives and party officials to further strengthen the party organization in Sindh, especially at the district level.
He was talking to a delegation of PTI members of the National and Sindh assemblies in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The delegation congratulated the Prime Minister for organizing a historic gathering in the federal capital.
It also expressed full confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and appreciated his development plans. The lawmakers also commended the Prime Minister for adopting an independent foreign policy and his efforts against Islamophobia.
Federal Ministers Ali Zaidi and Fawad Chaudhry as well as Sindh Governor Imran Ismail were also present on the occasion.
