Business Community expresses solidarity with Pakistani Armed Forces

The business community in a meeting at Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) expressed full solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces as their role was very vital in maintaining national sovereignty and protecting the borders from any aggression.
Addressing the meeting, Muhammad Shakeel Munir, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry said that the business community has full confidence in Pakistan Army and Chief of Army Staff, therefore, he stressed that army should not be dragged into unnecessary controversies as it would be harmful for the national integrity. He said that Pakistan needed to promote trade and exports with all potential markets of the world to improve its economy and conspiracy theory narrative should be avoided as it would damage the business and economic interests of Pakistan in the international market.
Muhammad Shakeel Munir said that Pakistan Army was a neutral institution and Pakistani nation including the business community have ful faith in the unbiased role of Pakistan Army as it is focused on protecting the borders of the country from aggressive elements and has no role in political matters, which should be left to the politicians. He strongly condemned the malicious campaign against the Pakistan Army and the Chief of Army Staff on social media after the recent developments on the political front and urged that strong action should be taken against those who were making efforts to malign the Pakistan Army, which was the most respectful and trustworthy institution of the country.
Jamshaid Akhtar Sheikh Senior Vice President and Muhammad Faheem Khan Vice President ICCI also condemned all efforts, which were being made against Pakistan Army and the Chief of Army Staff and demanded of the government to take strong actions against such elements as Pakistani nation would not tolerate any attempts to drag the Pakistan Army into controversies.
