Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has said that we are closely following the ongoing investigation into the terrorist attack on Pakistani Head of Mission in Kabul.
In response to media queries concerning remarks reportedly made by Zabihullah Mujahid, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that this is an ongoing investigation. We are closely following it, she said.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that we also remain in active contact with the concerned Afghan authorities on the matter. We are confident that the terrorist attack targeting our Head of Mission in Kabul, will be fully investigated and the perpetrators and their abettors will be brought to account, she said. Pakistan remains resolute in our commitment to fight the scourge of terrorism, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said.
Meanwhile in separate statement FO Spokesperson says Head of Mission in Kabul Ubaid-ur-Rehman Nizamani is in Pakistan on a prescheduled visit for consultations.
Ubaid-ur-Rehman Nizamani had remained unhurt during a terrorist attack on Pakistan’s Embassy in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul on Friday.
Pakistan on Saturday had summoned the Afghan Charge d’Affaires to convey Pakistan’s deep concern and anguish over the attack.
