Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday alleged that a conspiracy was hatched against him to bring Shehbaz Sharif into power.
In a video address on Sunday, he claimed that the plan was initiated a year back and the main character behind it was slowly unveiled to him.
According to Khan, the mastermind of the plan was Gen ® Qamar Javed Bajwa, who made a deal with Sharif before the latter was punished in cases.
Mr Khan also accused Hussain Haqqani of being hired against him.
During his address, Mr Khan told that PTI released a white paper and described the disaster that happened in a year, stating that a few people in a closed room brought the country to this point.
He claimed that the government had inherited a deficit of 20 billion dollars in 2018, which took two years to deal with.
However, the government was successful in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, and the way it was handled was recognized by the world.

The former PM went on to discuss historical examples of election interference, citing the separation of Bangladesh due to a lack of democracy.
He claimed that the mandate of Mujibur Rahman was not accepted, leading to the collapse of Dhaka.
Mr Khan also criticized the opposition parties, claiming that they have no concern for Pakistan and are only interested in their own agendas.
He accused them of attempting to delay elections through the London plan, which he believes is a ploy to avoid losing to the PTI.
