No stone will be left unturned to seek release of Kashmiri political prisoners: say speakers during an event of launching ‘Free Kashmiri Political Prisoners’ campaign

Speakers at an event while launching ‘Free Kashmiri Political Prisoners campaign in Birmingham reiterated that Kashmiri political prisoners are light of ‘freedom movement ‘in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIoJK) and no stone shall be left unturned to seek their release from illegal confinement.
President Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK Fahim Kayani alongside President Tehreek-e-Kashmir Europe Muhammed Ghalib and TeK UK Leadership Mufti Abdul Majeed Nadeem and Ch Ikramul Haq announced a number of measures to pressure India to end illegal abduction of Kashmiri political prisoners.
“India is moving faster than lightening in its colonial and imperial designs in IIoJK,” Kayani told a press conference in Birmingham. “And it demands that Kashmiris must sleeve up and work in unison to combine efforts against India’s nefarious designs.”
To sensitize international community regarding Kashmiri political prisoners, Kayani said Tehreek-e-Kashmir is mobilizing its cadre and allies to hold seminars, conferences and rallies in various global cities to seek release of Kashmiri political prisoners.
India has illegally abducted around 10,000 Kashmiris including leadership of All Parties Hurriyat Conference besides globally renowned Kashmiri human rights activists and Kashmiri journalists.
The pro-freedom leadership including Masarat Alam Bhat, Shabir Shah, Dr Qasim Faktoo, Yasin Malik, Aasiya Andrabi, Nahida Nasreen, Peer Saifullah, Ayaz Akbar, Fehmeeda Sofi, Naeem Khan and others have been illegally abducted in Indian jails.
Globally recognized Kashmiri human rights defender, Khurram Parvez has been held with no charges against him.
“It is a shame on global justice system and those who claim to defend the human rights,” said Kayani, slamming the western capital for their criminal silence on Kashmir.
Kayani said Tehreek-e-Kashmir will hold demonstrations outside the headquarters of the UN Human Rights Council on June 30th. Urging Pakistani and Kashmiri diaspora to join the various programs, Kayani announced that an international conference on Kashmir dispute resolutions is planned for August 3rd in historic Istanbul city.
“We need to close our ranks and work shoulder to shoulder,” Kayani said, appealing all Kashmiri and Pakistani diaspora to participate in rallies, conferences and demonstrations against illegal detention of Kashmiri youth, human rights defenders, journalists and political prisoners.
He said Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK has planned programs in many cities of UK and European on August 05 where they will stress on ending illegal occupation of Kashmir by India which is the root cause of human rights violations in Kashmir.
