The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chambers of Commerce and Industry (AJKCCI) has said that Best CEO Award of CEO Club Pakistan for Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (BAJK) President Khawar Saeed is an honour for the entire state of AJK including the business community and banking relations with BAJK will be strengthened and business will be further promoted. The speed at which this financial institution is setting the ladder of development, this creates this belief that very soon the bank will be among the most successful banks. These views were expressed by Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chambers of Commerce and Industry President Syed Sabir Hussain Shah, the elected body of the chamber and others while addressing a reception organized in honor of the President of the Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Mirpur yesterday. Senior Vice President of the Chamber Chaudhry Kashif Bajar, Vice President Muhammad Ashfaq Ratvi, Secretary General Nishat Ahmed, Former President Chaudhry Javed Iqbal, Wajid Rasool Mir, Tariq Mehmood, Faisal Latif and other leading business personalities were also present on this occasion. Traders said that the business community wants the fastest development and success of the bank and commits to develop business relationships with the organization. The bank is gaining the trust of the customers by improving the services. Paying rich tribute to the business community, President and CEO Khawar Saeed thanked them and said that BAJK is achieving excellent business results while progressing towards scheduling. Referring to the appointment of the focal person immediately after the meetings with the Governor and Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), he said that the performance of the bank under the patronage of the AJK Government, the efforts of the BOD and management are being recognized today that the bank has become the most profitable institution of AJK by rendering professional banking services. He further said that excellent business results have been achieved in the 17-year history of the bank. A historic increase in profits was recorded. While thanking the diaspora around the world, he said that there is a record increase in home remittances. New records are also being set in assets and deposits. On this occasion, a shield was presented to President BAJK on behalf of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chamber of Commerce .and Industry.
