Senate shows extreme displeasure over unprofessional & non-serious attitude of NBP administration towards committee, decides to take appropriate action

Meeting of Senate Special Committee on the Problems of the Employees of the National Bank of Pakistan belonging to Balochistan was held at National Bank Headquarters Karachi chaired by Senator Naseebullah Bazai.
At the outset the Committee Members showed extreme displeasure over the unprofessional and non-serious attitude of the National Bank administration towards the Committee. The Committee was surprised that despite prior communications and coordination, President of NBP could not ensure his presence in the meeting even after passage of 30 minutes. The Committee reprimanded the National Bank representatives on the lame excuses put forward by them, in this regard.
The committee, taking serious note of the sorry state of affairs at NBP Headquarters walked out from the meeting and decided to take appropriate action.The meeting was attended by Senator Muhammad Tahir Bizinjo, Senator Muhammad Shafiq Taren and representative from NBP.
