The federal government has banned all federal ministries, divisions, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions of the federal government from entering into contracts with the national governments or their private sector companies without the approval of the cabinet. It has been decided that those public sector corporations and institutions which have entered into agreements with foreign governments, their private institutions without the approval of the Cabinet, should be taken directly to the Prime Minister for regularization by the Cabinet. If in the future a public sector corporation, government commercial organization has to enter into a contract with a foreign private company or institution, they must be informed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Law and Justice, and if these contracts are of a sensitive nature, then the two highest authorities of their country.
