Private Air Line Serene has made sudden cancellation of flights a routine matter.
Airlines’ flight number ER-505 which had to go from Islamabad to Karachi during night, was cancelled and the travelers were asked to get their paid fare or book flight for another day. After struggle of several hours, the travelers who had booked flight no ER-503, had to face difficulty when at the last moment they were told that flight will start its journey after a delay of two hours instead of four hours.
The travelers who came from other cities including children and old persons had to face difficulty at the airport but employees of Airline did not pay attention to their grievances. Private Air Lines have made sudden cancellation or reschedule of flights a routine matter.
People could not attend important meetings due to not reaching on their destinations timely. Some people miss their appointments with the doctors. Businessmen have to face loss of millions of rupees while some people even could not attend funeral prayers of their near and dear ones. The people have to face much difficulties due to negligence of Civil Aviation.
On one side, Airlines are receiving fare according to their will while on the other side passengers have to face difficulties. Passengers have demanded of the administration to rectify their attitude towards the passengers. They have also demanded Civil Aviation to take stringent action in this regard.
