Modi regime wants to change the Muslim-majority territory into a minority: APHC-AJK

ISLAMABAD ( WEB NEWS )
The leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter have said that the Hindutva Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Indian government is conducting the sham elections in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) to mislead the world.
The APHC-AJK leaders addressing a news conference at National Press Club Islamabad on Monday, said the world understands that Kashmir is a disputed territory and is still in the United Nations for final settlement.
They said the BJP-led Modi government has been committing the worst kind of state terrorism in the occupied territory after 5th August 2019 when it repealed Kashmir’s special status and imposed military siege in the territory besides sending a large number of youth behind the bars.
The APHC-AJK leaders said the Modi regime wants to change the Muslim-majority territory into a minority, adding in this connection lakhs of new domiciles have been issued to non-state residents.
They deplored that the Modi government was also changing the education system to Hindu curriculum, saying Hindi is being preferred by eliminating Urdu.
“We want to make it clear that whoever is with India’s election is not with Hurriyat. These people are just using the shoulder of Hurriyat. For 25 years our youth are in jails and their families are not being allowed to visit them”, they lamented.
They said India wants to play a fixed match, adding Engineer Rashid has been released for political scoring and he is a part of India’s system.
