Resolution of Traders’ Issues to Get Top Priority: Nasir Qureshi

President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Nasir Mansoor Qureshi has said that he and his entire team is determined to undertake all the necessary steps to resolve the issues being faced by the business community. He said that the Chamber is working with CDA and other relevant departments for the better development of the markets as to give them a captivating look.
He said this while addressing a big delegation of Traders Welfare Association G-11 markaz led by its President Malik Naeem Akhtar Awan which visited the Chamber to extend greetings to the newly elected office bearers of the ICCI.
He said that there are more or less 10 thousand ICCI members and the responsibility of resolution of their problems lies upon his soldiers and that he by improving the infrastructure of the Chamber would try his level best to provide them a congenial atmosphere for ease of doing businesses.
President Nasir Qureshi assured the attendees that their all the problems will be get resolved on priority basis including the removal of encroachments especially the pushcarts from G-11 markaz which are badly affecting the businesses there. He added that the Chamber mulls to organize events in different markets for the promotion of businesses and the facilitation of the customers.
He added that the Office Bearers of Market Associations are playing an important role in solving the problems of the traders. They even sacrifice their businesses and family responsibilities to serve the cause of traders, which is commendable.
Naeem Akhtar Awan, President Traders Welfare Association G-11 Markaz, Islamabad said that due to the inattention of CDA their market is deprived of the basic facilities and traders are facing many problems, especially the encroachments including the pushcarts.
Senior Vice President Abdul Rehman Siddiqui said that the Chamber’s policy is very clear and it will keep the markets representatives on board for ensuring the availability of the business friendly atmosphere.
Vice President Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry expressed his gratitude to the guests for visiting the Chamber.
General Secretary TWA G-11 markaz Furrukh Khan, ICCI Executive Member Aftab Gujjar also addressed the attendees.
