The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has stated that the government’s attempts to drag the military into politics are shameful and condemnable. They emphasized that Imran Khan’s attempt to bring Fayaz Hameed under scrutiny is unacceptable. In response to Ata Tarar and Faisal Vawda’s statements regarding General Fayaz Hameed, the PTI spokesperson stated that the government’s efforts to involve the military in politics are shameful and should be condemned. The spokesperson further suggested that immediate action should be taken against the ridiculous statements by government spokespersons, and that the Director General of ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations) should present the facts to the nation. The spokesperson pointed out that during the past two and a half years, baseless statements and falsehoods were used for every state misadventure, while PTI, despite numerous provocations, kept the military out of politics and refrained from using it as political fuel.
The spokesperson added that General Qamar Javed Bajwa, who robbed democracy and the constitution under the regime change conspiracy, continues to mislead the nation with the illusion of neutrality. They emphasized that Imran Khan, as a prisoner of conscience, will not accept any attempt by the state to bring him under scrutiny using the name of Fayaz Hameed or anyone else. PTI’s spokesperson called for General Fayaz Hameed’s matter to be considered as an internal issue of the Pakistan Army. They also warned that every step tainted with political revenge and conspiracy would be exposed, and truth and justice would ultimately prevail.

Discussions with Imran Khan on Civil Disobedience Movement, Says PTI Chairman
Chairman PTI, Barrister Gohar, stated that the charge sheet against Fayaz Hameed is an internal matter of the military. Speaking to a private TV channel, Barrister Gohar clarified that PTI has no involvement in the charge sheet against Fayaz Hameed, as the military has its own rules and regulations under which it conducts trials. Barrister Gohar also mentioned that discussions with PTI founder Imran Khan regarding the Civil Disobedience Movement would take place. It is noteworthy that the former head of ISI, Lieutenant General (retd) Fayaz Hameed, has officially been charge-sheeted.
