The PTI leadership met with a delegation from the Human Rights Commission, during which Omar Ayub briefed them on the PTI protests on November 24, 25, and 26.

Barrister Gohar emphasized the need for an inquiry commission, stating that if any evidence of wrongdoing by the workers is found, they would not support them. He described the protest as peaceful, with many families involved, and claimed that the government created chaos, arrested, martyred, and detained their workers. He mentioned that numerous FIRs were filed against their leaders.

Opposition Leader Omar Ayub condemned the direct firing on workers and leaders and called for transparent investigations into the incidents. Asad Qaiser mentioned that some individuals were being falsely implicated in the May 9 incident under the guise of the protests, with many poor people arrested who had no political affiliations.

PTI leader Latif Khosa stated that the current government is not adhering to the constitution and laws, using them for their own benefit instead of the public welfare. MNA Adil Bazi said that his one billion rupees’ worth plaza was demolished, he was tortured for voting in the 26th Constitutional Amendment, and his assembly seat was taken away, although the Supreme Court ruled in his favor and restored his seat.

The Human Rights Commission delegation included Muneeza Jahangir, Nasir Zidi, Sadia Ghafari, Khushhal Khan, and Muhammad Asif.
