Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, stated that when Imran Khan is to be released, Inshallah, the prison door will open at dawn. She emphasized that PTI’s founder will not be released through any deal, but will triumphantly come out of jail. Aleema Khan spoke to the media outside Adiala Jail, saying that government officials had mentioned that PTI’s founder had tweeted, and this might cause the negotiations to halt. She added that when the authorities want to act, the jail opens as early as 7 AM, and meetings can also be arranged late at night. She further stated that when PTI’s founder is to be released, Inshallah, the prison door will open at dawn. She also mentioned that the jail authorities had denied a meeting with the negotiation committee early in the morning.
Aleema Khan said that the case regarding Al-Qadir would go to the High Court, and the whole world would realize how big a mockery this is. She added that Bushra Bibi had informed during the previous hearing that she would not attend the next one, and PTI’s founder would be acquitted in these cases. She said, “From day one, Imran Khan has been saying that he will be acquitted of all cases, and he still stands by this. He will face his cases and has appointed Salman Akram Raja, who will only say what Imran Khan tells him.”
Aleema Khan also stated that the party would stand by PTI’s founder from February 8 and would not be under anyone’s control. She expressed that the nation had supported Imran Khan, who had spent over a year in jail facing legal battles. PTI’s founder would not be released through any deal but would come out of jail victorious. She mentioned that providing free education to 250 children was a crime in the eyes of some. She further stated that they had been stopped from entering but had walked inside as a protest.
Aleema Khan also responded to claims by Rana Sanaullah, saying that PTI’s founder was not just a “golden” person but a “diamond.” She refuted the allegation that she was trying to take control of PTI and stressed that the establishment and others were on the same page regarding this. She said PTI would be free from anyone’s control from February 8, and the founder was leading the party from jail. She questioned why Rana Sanaullah was concerned about it.
She continued by sharing that the family had been restricted from meeting Imran Khan, and no one was allowed to see him, including his personal doctor. She called this a form of torture. She also mentioned that they had been told two months ago that an AI-generated video would be released against them, but PTI’s founder assured them that they had the support of the entire nation, social media, and all the Pakistani brothers. She expressed that their safety was guaranteed by Allah.
Aleema Khan clarified once again that they were not entering politics. She reaffirmed that they would stand by PTI’s founder until his release and that the founder had no official position but was running the party from jail. She concluded by saying that PTI’s founder was the voice of the people of Pakistan and reflected their thoughts.
