Asif Zardari Facilitated in the 190 Million Pound Case, But Imran Khan is Being Punished. Aleema Khan

The UK news agency has stated that the money was not stolen; it was a bribe given to Hassan Nawaz by a property tycoon. Speaking outside Adiala Jail, PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, said that Asif Zardari facilitated the 190 million-pound case, but Imran Khan is being punished. She said if Imran Khan was involved in facilitation, then Nawaz Sharif should also answer. In her conversation with the media outside Adiala Jail, she said that today the founder raised a question about the case where efforts are being made to convict Imran Khan. Sometimes it is said that the founder has stolen money, but the English agency has clarified that it wasn’t stolen money. The property tycoon had bribed Hassan Nawaz. She questioned that the NCA (National Crime Agency) had asked where the money came from. The NCA confirmed that this money was not stolen or laundered, but the property tycoon had made a deal with the NCA to return the money, which later came to Pakistan and generated billions in profit.

Aleema Khan further stated that the facilitation in imposing a fine was done by Asif Zardari, but Imran Khan is being punished because he set up an institution where the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are being imparted. She said that when asked about Imran Khan’s facilitation, Nawaz Sharif should also answer. He is disturbed because the welfare institution is benefiting no one except the founder. They are facing difficulties in punishing him, and after the punishment, they plan to take the matter to the High Court. Aleema Khan added that the PTI founder is ready to face the cases, and those who think they can easily convict him will be proven wrong. When Imran Khan is out, everyone will see the outcome.

Faisal Chaudhry: Government Must Answer Why Hassan Nawaz Sold Property for 18 Billion

Faisal Chaudhry, Imran Khan’s lawyer, stated that in the 190 million-pound case, why did Hassan Nawaz sell a 9 billion rupee property for 18 billion? The government needs to answer. Speaking to journalists outside Adiala Jail, Faisal Chaudhry added that there is no element of crime in the Toshakhana II case, and a series of false cases have been made against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. Therefore, he demanded that the trial in Toshakhana II be stopped immediately. He further mentioned that Imran Khan responded to the allegations made by the judge of the Accountability Court the previous day. Imran Khan said that trials never start before 11:30 AM in jail, but he received a message at 9 AM saying that the judge had arrived. Imran Khan asked if his lawyers were there, and when the answer was no, he told them to notify him when his lawyers arrive. Faisal Chaudhry explained that Imran Khan later discovered that the judge had left, and it was incorrect for the judge to say that he waited for two and a half hours because Imran Khan was not present.

Faisal Chaudhry emphasized that the 190 million-pound reference has no merit. He plans to ask Nawaz Sharif why his son sold the 9 billion rupee property for 18 billion. Where did the 9 billion extra go? He asked why the government is involved in this, as the money was frozen in London, and it has nothing to do with the cabinet. The real question is why Hassan Nawaz sold the property for 18 billion, and the government should answer. Faisal Chaudhry also asked why these out-of-turn cases were being taken up, indicating that the intention was to punish Imran Khan without considering the merit of the case. He called this a political case and said that the law, democracy, media, and IT systems had been destroyed to crush PTI. He pointed out that raising voices of protest was now considered terrorism, and the media was being controlled, preventing any criticism.

He added that after the APS attack in Peshawar, constitutional amendments were made to target political workers, and those who left PTI had their cases dismissed. Faisal Chaudhry said that Imran Khan had decided to raise the issue of human rights violations at the international level because Pakistan, as a state, is bound by international treaties. He also mentioned that certain facilities were denied to the PTI founder in jail, such as TV, and they were only allowed to meet their children after five months. He said they would file a petition in the Islamabad High Court, and the case regarding human rights violations is pending in the Supreme Court.

Faisal Chaudhry criticized the committee for allowing military trials of civilians and stated that this was a violation. He said that political parties could not be eliminated by force and emphasized that despite all the efforts, Imran Khan and PTI are still standing strong.
