Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has asked all data SIM providers to verify their customers through biometric verification system before December 31st.2015. Cellular operators were already verified their SIMs through BVS. PTCL and other data service providers asked its customers to get their EVO and other devices verified through BVS before deadline December 31st 2015.
PTCL is currently in process of communicating its customers through SMS and email to get their devices verified to avoid any troubles after the deadline.
There are around 1.2 million EVO, Charji and Nitro customers in country.
