FBR excesses, tax evasion, small chambers delegations reached the FPCCI, Capital Office with their grievances. Delegations of Small Chambers presented the problems faced by small traders to FPCCI, Capital Office Chairman, Qurban Ali and Chief Coordinator, Mirza Abdul Rehman and demanded that steps be taken to resolve them. It was also announced that the delegations of Qurban Ali and Mirza Abdul Rehman would meet the Federal Minister for Finance and other concerned ministers and officials for all possible cooperation, FBR and tax evasion.
According to details, Delegations of small businessmen led by the founding president of Sargodha Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries Sheikh Asif Iqbal, president of Mandi Bahauddin Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries SM Haider Raza Naqvi and the president Women Entrepreneur Sadia Zafar called on Chairman, FPCCI, Capital Office, Qurban Ali and Chief Coordinator, Mirza Abdul Rehman at the FPCCI Capital Office Islamabad yesterday. He asked the FPCCI leaders to play their role in solving the problems of small traders. If the federation calls for a strike, traders across the country will respond. He said that traders were ready to pay taxes but FBR was busy in closing down their businesses. Participants said small businesses are the backbone of the economy. He said that the procedures for providing loans are so strict that any trader would be reluctant to take a loan on the basis of these conditions.
