Sheikh Rashid says govt will not let any terrorist organization to disturb peace in country

Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Sunday said that Pakistan’s only interest in Afghanistan is that it has peace and stability.
Addressing a press conference, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed clarified that there is no refugee camp in Pakistan and Afghans, who crossed illegally in Pakistan, have been repatriated.
Sheikh Rashid further said that Pakistan fenced its border with Afghanistan to deal with terrorism. He added that one should be hopeful that Afghan Taliban will walk shoulder to shoulder with rest of the world.
Sheikh Rashid said the government will not let any terrorist organization to disturb peace in country.
He said the purpose of fencing along Pak-Afghan border is to stop cross border movement of terrorists. The Interior Minister said the PTI government’s foreign policy has won Pakistan an important role in regional peace.
Sheikh Rasheed said Pakistan has been hosting over four million Afghan refugees for decades.
