After a successful event of iMPress Telecom Media Conference, earlier this year, Mobilink has how stepped into another important domain for journalists. Mobilink upgraded the sports facilities at the National Press Club (NPC) Islamabad, providing various indoor sports equipment for the benefit of the club’s patrons and to provide them with a renewed recreational facility.
The facility was inaugurated by Omar Manzur, Head of Corporate Communications Mobilink who told the media at the event that Mobilink had a 20 year old relationship with the Press Club and the journalists’ community. He said that the facility was Mobilink’s way to honor this relationship.
Documents to hand over the facility were signed by Omar Manzur and Farooq Faisal Khan, President Nationa Press Club, Islamabad. Farooq expressed his gratitude towards Mobilink for upgrading the facility.
The facility at the National Press Club now has a number of indoor and outdoor sports including Snooker, Carom, Foosball, Table Tennis and Badminton. The initiative aims at providing the media fraternity of Islamabad with a means of recreation and healthy stress relief.
