A delegation of Roots International Schools & Colleges Visited FPCCI to have a meeting with Qurban Ali Chairmain FPCCI Capital Office. The purpose of their visit is Roots Branch opning in GB, promote academic cooperation and educational awareness through the establishment of exchange programs for academic staff and students, as well as organizing joint venture of academic research in the fields of IT, business, and engineering. The delegation included Atifa Ahsan GM Hr, Trainings & Od, Mr. M Faisal Iqbal Qureshi Chief Strategy Officer, & others were also included.
Atifa Ahsan stated that ROOTS International Schools & Colleges focuses on the international dimension in the fields of scientific research and student exchange by forging international agreements with numerous universities around the world and joint programs. She also highlighted about the Institution’s outstanding achievements, the unique programs that it has launched in the region. The participating of delegation gave a brief presentation about the Roots International Schools & Colleges & FPCCI and proposed areas of cooperation.
Qurban Ali, Chairman FPCCI, Capital Office, expressed the desire to academic-industry linkages & benefit from Roots International Schools & Colleges experience in international accreditation and said that FPCCI and Roots International Schools and Colleges can promote global entrepreneurship through strategic partnerships and also help to develop the business ecosystem. Chief Executive Roots is grateful to Waleed Iqbal. He assured to open branches of Roots School and College for providing better education to the students of Gilgit-Baltistan and he has sent his team to me for consultation. He said that FPCCI fully supported with all institutions like Roots for providing better education and better future to the youth.
Qurban Ali focused on how linkages between Educational Departments and the industry/business community Collaborating with each other can put Pakistan on the path of best economic growth. He opined that the latest technology was needed for enhancing the potential of the private sector which the business community was best placed to acquire. Commercialization of research done in at various forums can only be achieved if the industry was inclined towards identifying the areas of research that would enhance their industrial capabilities. This guided activity was essential for high dividends for both the business community and academia. He offered the Miss Atifa Ahsan all possible assistance with regard to the provision of nutrition, health, and other facilities to the students of Roots International schools & colleges.
Qurban Ali, Chairman FPCCI, Capital Office, Islamabad, hoped such a measure and other efforts of Roots International Schools & Colleges would provide a solid base to the sector towards a highly, qualitative and literate society. He appreciated the efforts of Chief Executive Routes Schools and Colleges Waleed Iqbal for providing better education to the students and said that in the last few days meeting, Waleed Iqbal assured to open branches of Routes Schools and Colleges in Gilgit-Baltistan. Gilgit-Baltistan students will become better and more capable citizens in the future by getting better education by opening a branch of Roots Schools. Qurban Ali and Atifa Ahsan presented each other traditional shields and gifts of FPCCI and Roots.
