Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has opened 2 new branches in Mirpur and Bhimbar and made them fully operational. After opening new branches in Kot Jamal area in Barnala Tehsil of Bhimbar and Kotli Road in Mirpur, the total number of branches of the bank has increased to 79. The opening of new branches will benefit the large population of these two districts and provide banking facilities to the esteemed customers at their doorsteps. It is pertinent to mention here that the bank is making historic profits by performing excellently. There has been a significant increase in other sectors including deposits, assets and remittances. By opening 2 new branches, many more areas of the state have been entered into the network of the Bank. Due to the trust in the bank, the people of these areas, including prominent businessmen, opened their accounts in large numbers and pledged to play their part in the success of the bank. New branches will be opened by the bank in many more areas so that the customers of these areas can also be provided with banking facilities at their doorstep. Mr. Khawar Saeed, President and Chief Executive Officer of the only financial institution of the state says that by opening new branches not only the branch network of the bank is expanding, but also providing banking facilities to the customers in the remote areas of the state while as educated youth avail employment opportunities. On opening of new branches, the business community of these areas, employees and customers from all walks of life are interested in promoting business with the bank.
