Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman directs to increases amount of investment & deposit for Pakistan to $15 billion
COAS & UAE President discuss ways to strengthen military affairs to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has directed to study augmenting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s investments in the sisterly Islamic Republic of Pakistan which have previously been announced on August 25, 2022 to reach $10 billion.
According to the Saudi official news agency, ”Saudi Press Agency” The Crown Prince also directed the Saudi Development Fund (SDF) to study increasing the amount of the deposit provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in favor of the Central Bank of Pakistan (CBP) which have previously been extended on December 2, 2022 to hit a $5billion ceiling, confirming the Kingdom’s position supportive to the economy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and its sisterly people.
This came within the framework of the existing communication between The Crown Prince and Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Meanwhile Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in a statement issued on twitter on Tuesday said that Saudi Arabia is Studying to Augment its Investments in Pakistan to Reach $10 b and Increasing its Deposit to CBP to $5b, it was Announced The official Saudi Press Agency.
General Hafiz Syed Asim Munir in UAE
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Hafiz Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah discussed defence and military ties with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his first official visit to the Gulf country, a statement issued by the Emirates News Agency (WAM) said Tuesday.
The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen military affairs to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries during the meeting, as per the state news agency.
“The two sides reviewed cooperation relations and joint work between the UAE and Pakistan in defence and military affairs, as well as ways to strengthen them to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries,” said the statement.
General Syed Asim Munir was received by the UAE President at Qasr Al Shati Palace. President Nahyan congratulated the army chief on his appointment, wishing him luck in his new duties to serve his country and people.
The WAM reported that General Syed Asim Munir expressed his thanks and appreciation to the president for congratulating him.
The meeting was attended by UAE’s National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Adviser for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Court Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security Ali Mohammed Hammad Al Shamsi and Staff Lieutenant General Engineer Issa Saif Mohammed Al Mazrouei as chief of staff of the UAE armed forces.
Meanwhile according to the statement issued by UAE Embassy in Pakistan on Tuesday, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE received at Qasr Al Shati Palace Abu Dhabi, General Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and discusses ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and joint work between the two countries
