Says remissions are offered to the investors to increase investment in the country

Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs Dr. Shamshad Akhter held a meeting with members of the Pakistan Business Council (PBC) at Karachi.
During the meeting, the members of PBC applauded the efforts of the interim government to curb smuggling, align exchange rates, and maintain IMF support.
Dr. Shamshad Akhtar reiterated the commitment of the government to expanding the tax base and addressing energy sector issues for a robust economy. She stressed upon significance of enhancing governance and accountability in the SOEs to ensure prosperity in the economy.
Meanwhile Dr. Shamshad Akhtar says the caretaker government is determined to take the country out of the economic crisis.
This she said while talking to Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori at Governor House in Karachi on Sunday.
Dr. Shamshad Akhtar said remissions are offered to the investors to increase investment in the country.
The Sindh Governor said on the occasion lauded the steps being taken by the government for the deal with economic challenges confronted to the nation.
