Easypaisa, Pakistan’s leading mobile financial service has been nominated in two categories of the prestigious GSMA Global Mobile Awards – 2014. The categories are “Best NFC/Mobile Money Product or Service”, and “Best Mobile Product or Service for Women in Emerging Markets”. Easypaisa is the only mobile financial service that has been nominated from Pakistan.
“It is a great honor for Easypaisa to be nominated for the highest tribute in the industry,” said Yahya Khan, Chief Financial Services Officer for Telenor Pakistan. “Our nomination in these two categories is evident that our initiative to promote financial services through reliable cellular services is being recognized internationally. It is a tremendous achievement and I would like to thank all our partners and our customers for making Easypaisa the third largest mobile money service in the world.”

This year’s Global Mobile Awards are to be held on February 25 during the Mobile World Congress event organized by GSMA, the global organization for all telecom companies in the world.
In October 2010 Easypaisa won the award for Best Mobile Money Transfer Entrant of the Year at the world’s first Mobile Money Transfer (MMT) Awards held in Dubai.
