One of the major telecom companies in Pakistan has unsuccessfully requested PTA to hold a mock online auction before 14th April. According to high level source in PTA, a major telecom company in Pakistan asked PTA to hold a mock auction since it didn’t had any experience.The Authority however rejected this request.
PTA that has issued clarifications regarding different IM subjects and particularly on license format. rejected this request. It has also stated that all companies are to submit their bidding papers and earnest money by 14th of April. It will evaluate the bidding documents and then only hold a mock online auction for those that qualify before 23rd of April.
