According to the spokesperson, the doors of the Speaker’s office are open 24/7 for all Members of Parliament.
On multiple occasions, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has suggested constructive and positive dialogue between the government and opposition. During the last session, Speaker Sadiq formally announced through a ruling that the doors of his office would remain open for all members.
He stated that Ayaz Sadiq not only advocated for giving more time to the opposition than the government but also implemented this idea. The Speaker believes in resolving issues through dialogue with understanding and mutual respect. Speaker Sadiq has always emphasized the importance of giving respect to one another. Even now, he is facilitating negotiations with sincerity. He mentioned that following the Speaker’s message, the government arranged a meeting of the negotiating committee at Adiala Jail. Both the government and opposition have praised this initiative, which reflects the Speaker’s impartiality and mediating role. The government officially informed the Speaker’s office about the committee’s meeting on Sunday at 2:30 PM.
