Former Prime Minister and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, stated that Malik Riaz would testify that during his tenure as Prime Minister, he did not gain any personal or financial benefit from him. He further emphasized that, unlike Asif Zardari, he did not build a Bilawal House for himself.
In a post on the microblogging website X, from Imran Khan’s account, it was stated that on January 22, he had a conversation with lawyers and media representatives in Adiala Jail. Imran Khan claimed that former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa had not heard their petitions regarding the false flag operation of May 9, 2023, and election rigging in February 2024, as he aimed to consolidate power and cover up the events of May 9. He further stated that the PTI faced the worst human rights violations in history, and there was a long list of oppression, from Zille Shah to Sami Azar.
Imran Khan asserted that they had not received justice from any court in the country, and the courts were paralyzed. However, he mentioned that the illegal government still feared that if any judge heard their petitions on human rights violations, they might get justice. He added that no matter what happens, there is a divine law that oppression and tyrannical governments cannot last long.
The former Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his intervention, which led to the release of nearly 7,200 impoverished Pakistani citizens from Saudi jails following his appeal. He explained that he had always used his position and influence to improve the lives of ordinary Pakistanis, which is why he entered politics, and this struggle would continue as long as he lived.
Imran Khan also clarified that neither he nor Bushra Bibi gained any financial benefit from Al-Qadir Trust, and Malik Riaz would testify to the fact that he was the only Prime Minister who did not take any personal or financial advantage from him. He added that, unlike Asif Zardari, he did not build a Bilawal House for himself, nor did he sell properties like the Sharif family at inflated prices.
He mentioned that the future of Pakistan’s youth was very important to him, which was why he had established Al-Qadir University. Imran Khan condemned the social media campaign against Bushra Bibi initiated by his opponents, stating that for the last six years, they had been defaming her in an attempt to tarnish his own character. He concluded by saying that those who claim to be his well-wishers but become part of the opponents’ propaganda were not his well-wishers; instead, they were playing into the hands of the enemy while completing their mission.
