Salwan Sabah, an Iraqi-origin immigrant, was shot and killed at his apartment in Sweden. According to international news agencies, the 38-year-old Salwan Sabah’s body was found at his home. He was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The police stated that they are gathering information about the incident, but so far, no information about the attackers has been received. No individual or group has yet claimed responsibility for Salwan Sabah’s death. Local media reports suggest that for the past year, he had been receiving threats from military groups in Iran and Iraq. It is important to note that this individual had repeatedly desecrated the Holy Quran in Sweden in 2023, for which he faced legal charges. It was also reported in April of the previous year that he had died, though the government did not confirm the news at that time. Salwan Momika also faced multiple fraud cases in Iraq, for which he fled to Sweden. Iraq had officially requested his extradition from the Swedish government.
