Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) jointly conducted successful raid in Jhelum and lala Musa and confiscated illegal gateway exchange. Illegal voice termination activity was detected and raid was conducted after investigations. Illegal Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) exchange comprising 16 ports, thousands of SIMs, seven wireless internet devices and other equipment was confiscated. Two persons arrested from spot. The action is expected to save millions of loss incurred due to illegal termination of voice calls by the exchange.
