Mobilink recently hosted the first ever visit of Evan Spiegel, CEO of SnapChat to the sub-continent. Evan, who recently was declared as the most influential new media figures under the age of 30 of the year 2014 was invited by Mobilink as a means to share knowledge about international trends in data and app development with students and professionals in Pakistan.
Evan Spiegelis an American Internet entrepreneur who co-founded the mobile application Snapchat along with Reggie Brown and Robert Murphy and is CEO of the company. According to a recent valuation his company is worth around 10 Billion dollars with more than 100 million people using his app.
During his two-day visit Evanmet with Mobilink’s data and marketing teams. Mobilink also arranged Evan’s visit to National University of Science and Technology (NUST) for an interactive session with students, entrepreneurs and young professionals. Evan shared his experiences from international markets with focus on their implementation in Pakistan.

Evan Spiegel, the CEO of Snapchat, visited NUST – SEECS in Islamabad earlier today. The event was organized by Mobilink and Spiegel was accompanied by the co-founder of VimpelCom, the parent company of Mobilink. Evan Spiegel, 24, is the brains behind Snapchat, which has more than 100 million monthly users.
